Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and deep cleaning frontline ambulance vehicles in accordance with the Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) requirements.
As an Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Specialist, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our vehicles are fully equipped and prepared to attend to patients. This will involve detailed cleaning and infection prevention and control activities, checking and inspecting medical and lifting & handling equipment, restocking consumables, and completing vehicle checks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be flexible in their approach. A driving license with C1 category entitlement is essential for this role.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and deep clean frontline ambulance vehicles in accordance with AVP requirements
- Conduct detailed cleaning and infection prevention and control activities
- Check and inspect medical and lifting & handling equipment
- Restock consumables and complete vehicle checks
- Work closely with operations team to ensure vehicles are fully equipped and prepared
