We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Physician in Stroke Medicine to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with acute and rehabilitation stroke needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical opinion on a full range of acute medical conditions, including medical emergencies.
- Take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of stroke services, including rapid access TIA patient assessments and outpatient stroke clinics.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements- Full registration with the General Medical Council.
- MRCP.
- Higher Training in General Internal Medicine and Stroke Medicine, Geriatrics, Neurology, or Rehabilitation Medicine as required for CCT.
- Entry onto the Specialist Registrar or a UK SpR within 6 months of CCT date at interview.
