Role Overview

Assist the Quality Manager in the daily operations of the office and execute daily goods-in procedures as directed by the QA Supervisor and Manager. Conduct Hygiene Audits along with daily, weekly, and monthly Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits, documenting non-conformances and ensuring follow-up actions are taken. Implement and oversee the PRP, OPRP, and HACCP plans across all operations, reporting any deviations and initiating corrective measures. Verify all HACCP documentation to ensure it remains current and accurate. Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain temperature logs. Ensure the integrity of traceability systems is upheld. Support airline-specific verification checks in various operational areas including flight assembly and dry stores. Prepare samples for microbiological testing and sensory evaluation of finished products. Supervise and inspect all chillers and dry storage areas within production and warehouse settings, including First In First Out (FIFO) practices, batch codes, expiry dates, and allergen segregation. Conduct personal hygiene verification checks for team members in high-risk and high-care zones. Generate regular Quality Assurance reports to facilitate corrective actions and demonstrate the effectiveness of the company's food safety and quality control initiatives. Train and develop production personnel on food safety and quality standards to empower them in maintaining compliance within the Operations Department. Investigate customer feedback and compile detailed reports for QA Supervisors and the QA Manager.

Self-driven, resilient, and a proactive advocate for DO & CO in a dynamic environment that demands adaptability. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Exceptional attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities. Capability to influence various departments to propose, implement, and monitor more efficient processes. Build effective relationships with other departments, including operational teams, to enhance efficiency and synergy. Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills, utilizing diverse methods to keep the DO & CO Family informed. Adaptable and decisive, capable of managing change to ensure alignment with partner needs and the DO & CO family ethos. Flexibility in work availability is essential, as operations run seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. Eligibility to work in the UK.
