Position: Educational Support Facilitator

Salary: Competitive annual salary

Hours: Part-time position, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, year-round

About the Role:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional, individualized educational support and care to service users with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, Autism, mental health challenges, and complex physical disabilities, in alignment with our company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development of service users participating in our educational programs, addressing their varied social care and learning requirements.
  • Collaborate with the program manager to implement engaging and meaningful educational activities, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback on each learner's progress to the program manager, enabling tailored support plans and assessments.
  • Offer appropriate assistance to service users, whether individually or in groups, to help them access the curriculum and achieve learning outcomes independently.
  • Maintain and organize educational resources and equipment efficiently, reporting any issues to the program manager.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment by organizing the classroom and its resources effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in care or educational support
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques
  • Familiarity with medication administration
  • Understanding of equality and diversity principles
