Role Overview: The Financial Administrator will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment. This position involves meticulous handling of both client and organizational accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough reconciliations of client and organizational bank accounts.
  • Processing and recording client and organizational receipts and payments, primarily through electronic systems.
  • Overseeing bank reconciliations and addressing any outdated cheques.
  • Monitoring the banking system for all electronic transactions throughout the day (including CHAPS, BACs, and FPC).
  • Identifying, allocating, and posting incoming electronic and manual receipts.
  • Facilitating credit and debit card transactions.
  • Managing petty cash transactions and ensuring accurate reconciliation.
  • Performing additional general and administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the accounts department.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a legal firm.
