The Parish Administrator will oversee the administration of the parish, ensuring it aligns with the parish's mission and the pastor's intentions. This includes managing parish finances, overseeing property, and ensuring office and employment procedures are followed.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration and Finance
  • Ensure compliance with parish personnel policies and procedures, as well as federal and state employment laws.
  • Lead in recruiting, hiring, and terminating parish employees, with the support of the Pastor.
  • Assist with financial aspects, including banking relationships, budgeting, insurance, and risk management.
  • Oversee data collections, computer systems, and software programs, making improvements as necessary.
Facilities/Cemetery
  • In collaboration with the facilities manager, oversee the upkeep and maintenance of parish properties, as well as long-range planning.
Office Administration
  • Maintain the parish calendar, aware of all activities impacting facilities.
  • Maintain and update the pastor's calendar, including weekly and Sunday Mass requests.
  • Create and maintain the parish membership database, including sacramental records.
  • Maintain office and kitchen supplies inventory.
Communication
  • Prepare the parish bulletin, gathering information, editing, and proofreading for accuracy.
  • Manage the parish website and social media channels, promoting the parish mission and vision.
