About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Electrical Engineer to join our team at Addition+. As an Access Control Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality safety solutions and services to our clients across various industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and provide technical support to a small team of Electricians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Project Management: Lead and attend meetings with Suppliers, Clients, and Internal Customers to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication.
  • Supply Chain Management: Liaise with Suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials required for all projects, maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Workload Management: Organize workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough Risk Assessments on automatic gates, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
  • General Administration: Manage RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement), technical files, quotations, and other administrative tasks related to the role.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the Access Control business, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Installation and Fault Finding: Carry out installations and fault finding on gate and access control systems, demonstrating a hands-on approach and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Project Development and Management: Proven experience in managing projects from conception to delivery, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Team Management: Experience in supervising and managing a team, providing guidance and support to ensure team members excel in their roles.
  • Access Control and Automatic Gates: Good knowledge of Access Control and Automatic Gates systems, including safety relays and programmable safety controllers.
  • Specification and Control Elements: Experience in specifying control elements in automation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Customer Growth: Ability to grow the customer base within Access Control and Automatic Gates, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Communication and IT Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Good IT skills, including experience with Word and Excel packages.
