People Operations Business Advisor

Location: Aldridge - Office Based

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Role Overview:

As a rapidly expanding accountancy firm, we are establishing a new role for a People Operations Business Advisor within our HR division. This position is crucial for delivering a comprehensive suite of HR services across our UK operations. You will be instrumental in fostering partnerships with management, offering practical guidance on a variety of personnel-related matters, and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals during this dynamic growth period.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will evolve in line with the changing needs of the business. Key duties include:

  • Providing continuous support to management in addressing personnel-related challenges.
  • Leading and expertly resolving intricate employment relations matters.
  • Collaborating with the broader HR team to promote best practices through your actions.
  • Establishing relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Delivering timely and engaging communications regarding HR issues or updates to all levels of the company.
  • Assisting in the implementation of HR strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Offering guidance on the application of our policies and procedures, especially in the context of integrating new teams.
  • Developing policies, procedures, and documentation as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering HR support services, preferably in a business partner capacity within a fast-growing or acquisitive environment.

Skills:

  • Confidence in leading and resolving complex employment relations issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships across all business areas.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Advocate for best practices in HR, with a focus on integration and cultural alignment during acquisitions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient IT skills.
