Resettlement Officer

Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking a skilled Resettlement Officer to join our Refugee & Asylum Seeker team. As a Resettlement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in their integration into our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individual support plans for refugees and asylum seekers with complex needs.
- Provide advice, support, and signposting to help them adjust to life in the UK.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Work closely with other teams to promote community links and integration.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, assessing need, and documenting support.
- Understanding of immigration and refugee resettlement programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and data protection policies.
- Ability to work flexibly across the borough of Cheshire West and Chester.
