We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Reception Shift Leader to join our team at Radisson Blu Vanderbilt Hotel.
Job Summary:The Reception Shift Leader will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk operations, and supervising the reception team in the absence of the manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the day-to-day running of the reception and supervise the department in the absence of the manager.
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, and be a true ambassador for excellent service, dealing with all requests and queries in an efficient and professional manner.
- Be aware of complaints/problems and bring them to the attention of the Front Office and Duty Manager, and offer assistance using your integrity.
- Function independently with a minimum of supervision, and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
- Confidence in assisting in the smooth running of the department, assisting with rotas, appraisals, and training of colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
- A competitive salary of £26,500.
- A full-time contract with 38.5 hours per week.
