Lead Clinical Psychologist for Early Psychosis Intervention
4 weeks ago
Position Overview
Are you passionate about leading the advancement and delivery of psychological therapies for individuals experiencing psychosis or those at risk of developing psychotic disorders?
This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your clinical skills and leadership capabilities, supported by a dedicated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) budget for further training.
As part of the Early Intervention in Psychosis Services, you will be engaged in a dynamic environment that fosters professional growth.
Role Responsibilities
You will assume a pivotal role in the Psychology department within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Services, focusing on:
- Developing psychological services for clients under the care of the team.
- Recruiting and managing psychology staff, providing professional oversight and clinical supervision.
- Enhancing the psychological competencies of non-psychology team members.
Your contributions will be vital in supporting clients diagnosed with, or at risk of, a First Episode of Psychosis, who often face intricate mental health challenges, social issues, and relational difficulties. You will be expected to deliver specialized psychological assessments, formulations, interventions, and evaluations for individuals, families, and groups, while also providing expert advice and consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
Key Duties
As a leader, you will:
- Drive the development of psychological services and ensure high-quality care for clients.
- Engage in service evaluation, research, and audit activities to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including service users, families, and other professionals, to foster a holistic approach to mental health care.
