About the Role

The Black Country Early Intervention Service is expanding its ARMS provision, seeking experienced mental health professionals to lead the development of this vital service.

As an ARMS Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting and treating individuals aged 14-35 who are identified as having an At Risk Mental State. You'll work alongside our existing EIP team, providing comprehensive, evidence-based interventions to optimize recovery, prevent relapse, and empower individuals and their families.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide care coordination for up to 20 patients, with a caseload split approximately 50:50 between FEP and ARMS based on service needs.
  • Collaborate effectively within the multi-disciplinary team, understanding and supporting the roles of colleagues in facilitating recovery within the Early Intervention philosophy and model of care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, interest, and experience working with individuals experiencing psychosis, familiar with national standards and targets for Early Intervention Services.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, provide psychoeducation, and engage in family work to promote well-being, recovery, and person-centered practice.
  • Participate actively in the development, delivery, and evaluation of EIP alongside colleagues from various disciplines.
