Job Description

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, or Educational Psychologist to join our team of experts in providing psychological therapies to children and young people with complex needs.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work across two specialist schools in Wolverhampton and Walsall, providing clinical support and interventions to children with complex neuro-developmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and interventions to children with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for children with complex neuro-developmental conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of children with complex needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Educational, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
