Senior Financial Project Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead the project to update and modernise our clients existing finance system and all associated processes.

You will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, working closely with finance, IT, and key stakeholders to ensure their new system will meet the company's needs and the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
  • Define project roles and responsibilities and establish clear lines of communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Engage with finance, IT, and other departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of the new finance system.
  • Develop and manage the project budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Project management certification, such as PMI or Prince2 Foundation.
  • Experience managing projects, particularly finance or IT projects with a focus on system updates or implementations.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems, processes, and best practices.
