A prominent and swiftly growing Social Housing Contractor is seeking to appoint a Construction Project Leader on a permanent basis.


The organization has consistently improved year after year and has an ambitious growth strategy in place, supported by a robust pipeline of projects throughout the Midlands region.


Specializing in retrofitting and decarbonization of tenanted Social Housing properties, the company aims to alleviate fuel poverty and minimize the carbon footprint.


This role involves overseeing a complex Social Housing Refurbishment project in Birmingham, which will include External Wall Insulation (EWI), Air Source Heat Pump installations, Windows and Doors, Internal Wall Insulation (IWI), and Roofline works.


Key Responsibilities of a Construction Project Leader:

  • Integrating client requirements into every facet of the project, providing added value to assure clients of the Contractor's commitment to quality delivery.
  • Supporting the Site Manager with any on-site challenges or concerns.
  • Maintaining regular communication with the client, discussing project progress and representing the company.
  • Participating in senior management meetings to update directors on site developments.
  • Addressing buildability and design challenges.
  • Overseeing Health & Safety protocols.
  • Planning and scheduling all project activities.
  • Creating a comprehensive build program.
  • Recruiting personnel and coordinating trades and labor.
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

Qualifications Required for the Construction Project Leader:

  • A solid background in the social housing refurbishment and decarbonization sectors, with experience in adhering to PAS regulations.
  • Relevant certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid.
