Job Description

Integrated Project Services (IPS) is seeking a talented Graduate Construction Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. As a member of our Construction team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our clients, global leaders in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, to deliver high-quality construction management services.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of construction professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Attend meetings and site visits to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing site safety and addressing any nonconformities.
  • Contribute to the overall management and delivery of construction management services.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with IPS and client specifications.
  • Support the Project Manager in evaluating vendor and subcontractor invoices.
  • Champion and maintain the highest standards in health and safety throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Develop your technical skills and experience through a hands-on approach to managing your work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in construction management and site execution is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on fostering a communicative and inclusive workplace.
  • Commercial awareness or aptitude to develop this.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe for project delivery.
