Job Title: Medical Equipment Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Training Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Equipment Training and Equipment Library department, you will play a vital role in providing training and support to our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the training database team, including data entry, records archiving, and ordering medical devices and accessories.
  • Record all work undertaken in the appropriate format and prepare programmes of training as required.
  • Regularly assess the state of medical device training in the Trust and coordinate and monitor programme delivery.
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide equipment training for Trust staff.
  • Ensure effective and timely advertising for all training initiatives and assist in the delivery of training to staff.
  • Develop high-quality training materials and ensure training and verification documents exist for each piece of equipment in the Trust.
  • Communicate and negotiate at an advanced level with different groups and participate in audit and assurance work to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of relevant training systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience of working in a training or education environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of medical devices and equipment, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
