Role Overview:

We are thrilled to announce the opening for a Management Accountant, a newly created role in response to the significant growth of WB Power Services Ltd. This position is crucial for our ongoing success and will play a key role in enhancing the capabilities of our finance team.

The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to define this role, making a substantial impact on our financial management processes.

This position not only supports our current operations but also contributes to strategic decision-making, ensuring we are well-prepared for future growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for various divisions, including performance analysis.
  • Ensure effective reporting of planned versus actual performance to senior management.
  • Provide timely and precise financial information and insights to support decision-making and forecasting.
  • Conduct financial modeling to anticipate future performance.
  • Offer professional financial advice to project managers.
  • Identify cost management initiatives and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance to enhance the quality of financial reports.
  • Produce cash flow forecasts and support credit control for major projects.
  • Manage and reconcile project balance sheets.
  • Ensure the integrity of control accounts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and consolidations.
  • Support annual audit preparation and execution.
  • Work closely with finance team members to achieve overall objectives.
  • Undertake ad hoc investigations and projects as required.

Candidate Profile:
  • Highly motivated individual with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration across departments. A background in management accounting, working capital optimization, and financial analysis is required, along with advanced Excel proficiency.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA); QBE will not be considered.
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in handling large datasets.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to innovate.
  • High integrity and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information quickly.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in project accounting or long-term contract accounting is highly desirable.
