Position Title: Management Accountant - Commercial

Reporting To:

Role Overview:


The Management Accountant will deliver a comprehensive financial management service to the Business Partners, Head of Finance, Financial Director, Managing Director, and Senior Management Team of WB Power Services Ltd. This role is pivotal in maximizing profitability and cash flow while ensuring effective performance reporting, planning, and business controls.


The successful candidate will collaborate closely with finance and senior management teams to achieve organizational financial objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and analyze future invoicing trends.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners to manage Protean-driven control accounts, including WIP, inventory, and purchase order accruals.
  • Support Central Business Partners with monthly reporting and group consolidations.
  • Assist Business Partners in preparing for and executing annual audits.
  • Reconcile key customer accounts in partnership with the credit control team.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial reports across business units and the Group to ensure clarity and understanding of planned versus actual performance among senior management.
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet control to reflect the true financial status of the organization.
  • Provide a robust financial management service for commercial functions, including budget delivery, forecasting, and performance analysis, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team, Head of Finance, and other reports to the Finance Director to meet overall objectives.
  • Engage in ad hoc investigations and projects as directed by senior management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • CIMA studiers are encouraged to apply.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to engage in hands-on tasks.
  • A strong desire for personal and professional development.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and strong systems skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
