Role Overview:


The primary objective of this role is to deliver a comprehensive financial management service to key stakeholders including Business Partners, Head of Finance, Financial Director, Managing Director, and the Senior Management Team.


Collaboration with finance and senior management teams is essential to maximize profitability and cash flow, ensuring effective performance reporting, planning, and business controls.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and analyze future invoicing.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners to manage control accounts driven by Protean, including WIP, stock, and PO accruals.
  • Support Central Business Partners with monthly reporting and group consolidations.
  • Assist Business Partners in preparing for and executing annual audits.
  • Reconcile significant portal-driven customer accounts in conjunction with the credit control team.

Prepare and consolidate financial reports across business units and the Group to ensure that planned versus actual performance is accurately reported and comprehended by senior management.

Maintain control of the balance sheet to ensure it accurately reflects the true financial status of the organization.

Provide effective financial management services for commercial functions and costs, including the delivery of budgets, forecasts, and actual performance, ensuring clear communication with key stakeholders.

Work in tandem with other finance team members, the Head of Finance, and reports to the Finance Director to achieve overall objectives.

Engage in ad hoc investigations and projects as requested by the Head of Finance, Finance Director, Managing Director, and Senior Management Team.


Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience is essential.
  • CIMA Qualified.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and development.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in systems and experienced with Microsoft Office tools.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Thoughtful and driven to enhance processes.
