Job Summary:

The Robert Walters Operations Limited is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing proactive HR support across the business to Line Managers and over c100 employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day HR Tasks: Manage the employee life-cycle, including supporting on-boarding and processing leavers, taking absence calls, employee holiday management, and updating the monthly payroll as required.
  • HR Administration: Prepare job descriptions, HR policies, and forms as required, lead on all elements of HR administration relating to the recruitment process, including the reviewing of job packs, advertising, and ensuring all compliance documentation is completed, including references and eligibility checks.
  • Employee Relations: Support with all aspects of any employee relations issues, monitor the progress of new employees through the probation period, liaising with managers where necessary to ensure review meetings are carried out in a timely manner.
  • HR System Management: Keep the HR system updated, carry out changes to employee details as required, and support with the administration of family-friendly policies and ensuring the payroll is correct.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly HR reports for senior management, providing advice on HR matters, such as absence issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, including the use of an HR system, an understanding of employment law, coupled with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive recruitment experience, along with experience working within a stand-alone HR Manager role and ideally, experience setting-up a HR function.
  • Organized person with a people-centric approach, and be used to working in a busy, fast environment.
  • CIPD Lv.5 qualified or working towards this and have experience in an HR role or function.
