Spencer Clarke Group is looking for a Leader of Family Support Services to join a Local Authority Client.



In this position, you will oversee a committed team dedicated to providing integrated, early intervention services for children, adolescents, and families, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate assistance.



Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for achieving critical strategic goals:

  • Manage and supervise a team that delivers focused group activities and outreach initiatives for young children and their families.
  • Work in partnership with the Early Help team to guarantee families obtain timely and suitable support.
  • Make informed decisions regarding case management, evaluate assessments, and suggest appropriate levels of intervention and assistance.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Hubs, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and service users.
  • Engage in staff recruitment, training, and development, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.


Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Significant experience working with complex family dynamics, ideally within a local authority framework.
  • Proven experience in team management and supporting families with intricate needs.
  • Experience in collaborating with various agencies to provide coordinated support services.
  • Expertise in managing risk assessments, case management, and intervention strategies.

What We Offer:

Salary: £23+ per hour
*Negotiable for exceptional candidates based on experience*

Contract Type: Minimum of 3-6 months, with a strong possibility of extension

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
