Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in South Kensington. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities to identify any maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and improve efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and staff, ensuring that all maintenance issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and other technical tools.
