About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Immunocore, a pioneering biotechnology company dedicated to developing transformative medicines for oncology, infectious diseases, and autoimmune diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our autoimmune biology platform by isolating and characterising various immune cells, participating in the generation and expansion of T cell clones, and maintaining cancer cell lines and primary cells.
  • Interpret and communicate complex data to colleagues and peers, actively participating in team and project meetings.
  • Contribute to routine lab maintenance and organisation, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Immunology or Cellular Immunology, with 1 year of relevant postdoctoral experience preferably in industry.
  • Ability to design and run cell-based assays / functional assays to address key scientific questions.
  • Experience in immunology techniques such as NFAT luciferase reporter assay, ELISA, MSD cytokine analysis, and T cell killing assays.
