We are seeking a highly motivated PhD Research Scientist to join our multidisciplinary research team at the Oxford centre for Neuroinflammation.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with Professor Lars Fugger and his team at the MRC Translational Discovery Immunology Unit, based at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
The research project aims to explore the role of immune cells from patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) at different stages of disease and to understand how they interact with cells of the central nervous system (CNS).
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Immunology and experience with immune cell-based assays. They should be highly motivated and have the ability to develop new ideas and research objectives.
About YouYou will be part of a team of research scientists, computational biologists, and clinicians, with access to state-of-the-art technologies and opportunities to collaborate with leading researchers both locally and globally.
