Position Overview:

The Systems Development division at Arm is responsible for designing subsystems and SoC architectures across various application domains, leveraging cutting-edge IP solutions from Arm and other suppliers. We are seeking innovative and motivated SoC Verification Engineers to enhance our team. This role requires expertise in verifying and testing advanced IP components, including CPU, GPU, and DSP processors, along with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics. Your mission will be to ensure seamless functionality among these products and their software, enabling our partners to create exceptional systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, establish verification methodologies, and execute functional verification to meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project management and technical leads to plan tasks, set timelines, and implement quality assurance checkpoints.
  • Work alongside engineers from various disciplines, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
  • Senior Engineers are encouraged to provide mentorship to junior team members.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
  • Proficiency in assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, and/or hardware verification languages such as SystemVerilog, along with scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Familiarity with multiple verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, formal verification, low power, and emulation techniques.
  • Exposure to all phases of verification: requirements gathering, development of verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench creation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  • Hands-on experience in verifying processor-based system designs.
  • Leadership experience in technical teams, including mentoring or coaching roles.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of Arm system architecture fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of power-aware design and Clock Domain Crossing implementation.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, and microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Verification experience with subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet.
  • Development and deployment experience of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
