Position Overview:

The Systems Development division at Arm is at the forefront of creating advanced subsystems and SoC designs tailored for a variety of application sectors. We are seeking innovative and passionate SoC Verification Engineers to enhance our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in verifying and testing complex IP components, including CPU, GPU, and DSP processors, alongside memory controllers and interconnect fabrics. Your efforts will ensure seamless integration of these products with software, empowering our partners to deliver exceptional systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, establish verification methodologies, and execute functional verification to meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project management and team leads to strategize tasks, establish timelines, and implement quality checkpoints.
  • Work alongside engineers from various disciplines, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
  • Proficiency in assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, and/or hardware verification languages such as SystemVerilog, along with scripting skills (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Familiarity with multiple verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, formal verification, low power, and emulation techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all verification stages: requirements gathering, creation of verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  • Practical experience in verifying processor-based system designs.
  • Proven experience in technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching roles.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Arm system architecture fundamentals.
  • Understanding of power-aware and Clock Domain Crossing implementations.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, and microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Familiarity with verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet.
  • Experience in the development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
