About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FPGA Verification Engineer to join our dynamic FPGA Prototyping verification team, a key part of Arm's Solutions Engineering group. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving the verification of System on Chip (SoC) RTL designs that are modified for FPGA implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification Strategy Execution: Implement and execute verification strategies to ensure thorough testing of assigned SoC modules.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design engineers, architects, and other verification engineers to understand design requirements and plan verification.
  • Test Automation: Automate test cases and regression suites to improve verification efficiency and coverage.
  • Reporting and Results: Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills to report verification progress, issues, and results to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • SoC Verification Expertise: Solid understanding of SoC Verification (using C Testcases), hardware description and verification languages e.g. SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL.
  • Computer Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of Computer architecture, bus protocols (e.g., AXI, AHB), and peripherals.
  • Scripting Skills: Experience with Tcl, Python or other scripting languages.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electronics/computer engineering.
Nice to Have
  • ARM Experience: Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures.
  • Verification Methodologies: Familiarity with verification methodologies - UVM/OVM.
  • Peripheral Knowledge: Knowledge of PCIe and CXL will be a plus.
