Hub Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hub Maintenance Engineer to join our Barnsley Hub Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cutting-edge equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and other team members to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical developments and advancements in the field to ensure the Hub remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including PLCs, automation, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with external contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
