Our client works with prestigious brands such as Case Construction, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack, delivering customer requirements for all Earthmoving and Recycling needs. The client has heavily invested in opening new sites.


Job Summary

Reporting to the Service & Warranty Manager, this role involves travelling to and working at customer sites to service and resolve problems on heavy plant. The successful candidate will liaise with the service team and technical support to solve problems, order parts, and complete and submit reports and hours.


Key Responsibilities
  • Travelling to and working at customer sites to service and resolve problems on heavy plant.
  • Liaising with the service team and technical support to solve problems, order parts.
  • Completion and submission of reports and hours.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of a variety of heavy plant, including wheeled loaders, excavators, track loaders, shredders, screens, and waste handlers.
  • Knowledge of the following brands would be advantageous: Case Construction Equipment, Terex Ecotec, Keestrack.
  • Competency and understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics, in-engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPF, electrical circuits, problem-solving and diagnostic skills, IT skills, literacy skills, and communication skills.
  • Qualifications: driving license, apprentice NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or similar, quarry passport, passport to safety, air conditioning.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working as part of a team and on their own initiative, with flexibility to work varying hours when required.
