Role and Responsibilities

The Execution Solution Lead is a key member of the Defense and Security (D&S) International Solutions team, responsible for developing and delivering training solutions to defense forces and para-military organizations worldwide. The successful candidate will leverage CAE's core simulation technologies and best-in-class teaching methodologies to design and implement comprehensive solutions that meet customer requirements and budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the D&S Lead to Award (L2A) business development process from initial customer interactions to contract award.
  • Develop and validate solutions for active opportunities, including defining winning execution strategies, leading IMS preparation, and creating risk and opportunity registers.
  • Lead the creation of proposal management volumes, including project management plans, risk management plans, and statements of work.
  • Ensure supplier/partner workshare includes proper SOWs and technical requirements documents.
  • Define comprehensive transition plans and post-delivery sustainment plans.
  • Prepare milestone payment plans and export control plans.
  • Deliver solution reviews and design-to-win reviews.
  • Interface with customers and end-users to present solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of related program management leadership experience in industry and/or military service, with 3-5 years focused on training program development and delivery for the defense sector.
  • Relevant experience leading medium to large development, training integration, or engineering projects with high levels of risk/uncertainty.
  • PMP certification or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with new business capture and proposal processes for large made-to-order programs highly desirable.
  • Good ability to develop capture strategies for new business, leveraging winning themes and discriminators a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of CAE's products and training solutions, including modeling and simulation capabilities, considered a definite asset.
  • Excellent oral & written communication, as well as presentation skills.
  • Fluent in both English and French considered an asset.
  • Good people skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Good business acumen and political savvy highly desirable.
  • Ability to hold a NATO SECRET security clearance.
