Accommodation Warden

We are seeking an Accommodation Warden to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As an Accommodation Warden, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, families, and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating accommodation-related services, working closely with in-house and contracted services to ensure a high standard of patient and family-centered care.
Main Duties- Welcoming patients and families to the accommodation and providing guidance on our policies and facilities.
- Preparing guest bedrooms and communal areas prior to check-in and ensuring equipment and resources are available to support patient care plans.
- Working with in-house support services and contracted providers to deliver goods and services that support business operations.
- Setting up rooms and handling and storing luggage.
- Conducting audits and monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies, and taking appropriate action.
- Performing administrative tasks, including data input.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will possess good written and verbal communication skills, a NVQ (Level 2) in housekeeping or equivalent experience, and the ability to follow instructions, work effectively under pressure, and multitask.
They will also have basic computer skills, knowledge of health and safety issues, and experience of dealing with complex telephone calls.
