Geotechnical Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Aylesbury. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock logging, and communicating with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site investigations and ensure accurate data collection.
- Monitor groundwater and gas levels to ensure site safety.
- Log and analyze soil and rock samples to inform project decisions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
- Write clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should have a degree in a relevant field, such as geology, earth sciences, or civil engineering. You must have experience in the geotechnical industry and a Full UK Driving Licence. Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.
