Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing site investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock logging, and communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site investigations and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Monitor groundwater and gas levels to ensure site safety.
  • Log and analyze soil and rock samples to inform project decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Write clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in geology, earth sciences, or civil engineering.
  • Experience in the geotechnical industry as an engineer or consultant.
  • Full UK driving license for frequent site visits.
  • Right to work in the UK and live commutable to Aylesbury.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Chartership or working towards chartership.
