Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, renew, and fit ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G, or sheet flooring.
  • Repair, renew, and fit doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling.
  • Repair, renew, and fit kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
  • Repair, replace, and fit ironmongery to doors and windows.
  • Repair, renew, and fit timber and UPVC window frames.
  • Reglaze timber fencing and gates.
  • Perform multi-trade skilled work, including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing activities.

Requirements:

  • A recognized apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3) in a relevant trade.
  • Experience working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and the installation of wet rooms and disabled adaptations.
  • Competence in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline.
  • Plastering trade discipline (desirable).
  • Ability to carry out multi-skill trades.
  • Housing Association experience is essential.
  • Driving license is essential.
  • Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and have own tools.
