Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our Talent Acquisition Team as a Senior Corporate Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in sourcing, engaging, and securing high-caliber talent for various government and commercial initiatives. This role is based in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute proactive outreach, sourcing, and interviewing of candidates, particularly those with military clearance or government-related experience.
  • Leverage diverse Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Taleo), social media platforms, and job boards for effective candidate sourcing.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring an approachable demeanor for in-person interactions.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract both active and passive candidates through various channels, including job boards, networking groups, and employee referrals.
  • Manage multiple recruitment tasks efficiently, showcasing strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail throughout the candidate processing stages.
  • Review candidate applications and resumes to assess security clearance eligibility, salary expectations, and fundamental qualifications.
  • Conduct interviews via phone, video conferencing, or other platforms as necessary.
  • Prepare resume templates and actively seek candidates for ongoing requisitions and proposal opportunities.
  • Engage in hiring events, career fairs, information sessions, and other networking opportunities as required.
  • Contribute to special projects and community initiatives as needed.
  • Stay informed about market trends at both local and national levels, suggesting new recruitment strategies.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to maintain recruiting and staffing databases.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tools and systems to enhance Celestar's overall recruiting efforts.
  • Be open to travel as required, up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in staffing or recruiting for government contract roles.
  • Proficient in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, social media, and job boards for candidate sourcing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Prior military experience is advantageous.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed with a keen eye for detail.
