Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized professional to join our Talent Acquisition Team as a Corporate Recruiter. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and securing top talent for both government and commercial projects. This position is located in Tampa, Florida, and offers opportunities for career growth through funding, training, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold-calling, sourcing, and interviewing of candidates, preferably with cleared military/prior military and/or government-related positions.
- Utilize various Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo Preferred), social media sites, and job boards for effective candidate sourcing.
- Demonstrate outstanding phone and people skills, maintaining an approachable presence for face-to-face interactions.
- Implement proactive procedures to source active and passive candidates through internet job boards, networking organizations, advanced internet sourcing, employee referrals, and unique sourcing strategies.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail in processing candidates in a timely manner.
- Screen candidate applications and review resumes to determine security clearance status, salary range, and basic qualifications.
- Conduct interviews via phone, Microsoft Teams, or other platforms.
- Format resume templates and actively source candidates for existing requisitions and proposal opportunities.
- Participate in hiring events, career fairs, information sessions, networking opportunities, open houses, and other events as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and community functions as required.
- Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace on a local and national level, recommending new avenues for recruitment efforts.
- Support various administrative tasks to maintain recruiting and staffing databases.
- Will to learn new tools and systems to support Celestar's overall recruiting mission.
- Will to travel up to 20% of the time.
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years of experience staffing/recruiting in government contract positions.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, social media, and job boards for candidate sourcing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Prior military experience is a plus.
- Proactive, well-organized, and self-managed with a keen attention to detail.
