About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our registered nurses in planning, delivering, and evaluating care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures
  • Participate in handovers, meetings, and other team activities to ensure continuity of care
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered care
Requirements
  • Completed Care Certificate or ability to complete within 6 months of appointment
  • Knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study and/or employment experience
  • Good written and verbal communication in the English language
