European Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled European Operations Coordinator to join our client, a UK Freight and Logistics company based in North Yorkshire.
The European Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the operations team to plan and optimize road freight routes across Europe, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
The successful candidate will monitor shipments, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during transit to minimize disruptions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Providing regular updates on shipment status to customers and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Liaising with clients to build strong relationships and maximize the potential of the client's business.
- Managing operational administration, including accurate data entry, job cards, and sending confirmation to bookings to suppliers.
- Raising operational documentation, including customs clearance formalities.
- Calculating freight quotations for both Import and Export shipments.
- Preparing and sending invoices and completing job files.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years' + experience in European Road Freight, with a good understanding of post-Brexit EU Customs Clearance requirements.
In return, the successful European Operations Coordinator will be offered a salary in the region of £31,000 plus pension.
