Job Title: QHSE Advisor

Salary: Up to £44,000

Location: Stoke

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Advisor to join our team at First Recruitment Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing HSQE legislation and ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Lead HSE incident/accident investigations and carry out root cause analyses.
  • Conduct new starter induction training for all employees.
  • Act as an advisory point for staff and managers on HSQE matters.
  • Work with various managers to oversee HSQE requirements on and off-site.
  • Carry out site safety audits and arrange meetings to close out actions.
  • Ensure statutory obligations around plant and equipment maintenance are met.
  • Oversee Health and Safety requirements for buildings and facilities.
  • Maintain the Valto document control system and liaise with department managers.
  • Support the HSQE department in meeting construction phase needs and expectations.
  • Prepare HSQE communications, including toolbox talks and safety alerts.
Requirements
  • Nebosh Certificate – General or Construction or above.
  • ISO accreditation training/experience (lead auditor, general awareness).
  • Member of IOSH or equivalent.
  • Full (Clean) UK driving license.
  • AIMEA Qualifications.
