We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Net Zero Evolution. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and environmentally responsible execution of our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety plans, emergency response plans, and environmental management plans.
- Provide training and coaching to site personnel on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and environmental incidents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and community groups to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the renewable energy or energy storage industry.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
- Internal Audit qualification (ISO 45001) and/or Chartered or Certified Member of IOSH.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
