Job Title: QHSE Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QHSE Advisor to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date with changing HSE legislation and ensure compliance
  • Lead and participate in HSE incident and accident investigations
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify and address potential hazards
  • Deliver HSE new starter induction training to employees
  • Provide advisory support to staff and managers on HSE matters
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure HSE requirements are met
  • Conduct site safety audits and arrange meetings to address findings
  • Ensure statutory obligations for plant and equipment maintenance are met
  • Oversee Health and Safety requirements for buildings and facilities
  • Maintain the Valto document control system and ensure compliance
  • Support the HSE department in meeting construction phase needs and expectations
  • Assist in preparing HSE communications, including toolbox talks and safety alerts
Requirements:
  • Nebosh Certificate - General or Construction or above
  • ISO accreditation training or experience (lead auditor, general awareness)
  • Member of IOSH or equivalent
  • Full (Clean) UK driving license
  • AIMEA Qualifications
