Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology graduate to gain experience working with students with special educational needs. You will work in a supportive and welcoming school environment, assisting teachers and other support staff to ensure the students receive the best possible education.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to develop their skills and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Help to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs (advantageous but not required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude
