Job Title: Child Psychology Graduate

We are seeking a Child Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant in a primary school in Coulsdon.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate to gain experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will work alongside experienced teaching staff to support the development and learning of students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support students with their learning and development
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students as required
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children or adults with SEN (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
