Senior Systems Engineer

Location

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage the Systems Engineering tooling and infrastructure framework to support large-scale system development.
  2. Provide coaching and support to users of Systems Engineering tools and infrastructure to ensure effective working on practical engineering tasks.
  3. Collaborate with specialist engineers to incorporate their needs within the Systems Engineering tooling and infrastructure.
  4. Work with other Systems Engineering Leads to address their needs in implementable and supportable solutions.
  5. Monitor relevant technical developments, such as model authoring tools and information management.
Requirements:
  1. Strong knowledge of modern Systems Engineering methods applied to large-scale system development, including various system types.
  2. Experience with Systems Engineering technical methods and practices, including ontologies, modelling languages, architecture frameworks, processes, and tooling.
  3. Experience with modern information technology and methods, such as cloud, secure by design, triple store databases, etc.
  4. Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent working experience.
  5. Chartered status or working towards it.
