About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Director of Assessment and Innovation. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of educational assessments and driving our organization's mission to deliver high-quality, accessible, and error-free assessment materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of GCSE and A-level assessments, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive strategic transformation and innovation in assessment processes, embracing digital exams and adapting to curriculum and general qualification reforms.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages collaboration, development, and excellence among team members.
  • Apply expertise in interpreting complex data to resolve ambiguous issues and communicate clear, actionable insights to diverse audiences.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies like Ofqual, to ensure our assessments set the standard for educational excellence.
  • Steer the organization through significant changes in the educational landscape with empathy and foresight, preparing for future opportunities and challenges with a visionary approach.
