Position Overview
We are seeking applications for the role of Clinical Fellow specializing in Echocardiography. This position offers an opportunity to engage in a dynamic cardiac non-invasive diagnostic environment.
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiac ultrasound technology, facilitating over 30,000 non-invasive procedures annually. Our Echo department is recognized for its comprehensive digital echo lab, providing a wide array of services including transthoracic, transesophageal, 3-D echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, and contrast studies across various specialties.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will contribute significantly to the clinical operations of the department while also offering limited medical assistance to the broader non-invasive cardiology team. Training will encompass clinical and echocardiographic evaluations, patient selection processes, and device programming. The successful applicant will receive advanced training in echocardiography, gaining substantial experience in a high-volume setting. Our Echo department is among the busiest in Europe, with a commendable history of education and research.
