About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Operations Specialist to join our team at Imperial London Hotels. As a key member of our distribution function, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and establishment of our distribution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review systems and connectivity for all ILH properties to ensure seamless distribution of rooms, rates, and bookings.
  • Onboard new partners and suppliers, ensuring a smooth integration process.
  • Troubleshoot system and rate failures, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Assist properties with rate and room type queries, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Identify rate parity issues and bring them to the attention of suppliers to resolve, ensuring fair and competitive pricing.
  • Manage a small team, developing their skills and ensuring high-quality work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with system changes and scheduled downtimes, communicating effectively with affected departments.
  • Perform general ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth delivery of rooms, rates, and bookings across all interfaces.
  • Deputize for the Distribution Manager in their absence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a tech-driven role, preferably in hotel or supplier distribution.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Solutions-based mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Attributes
  • Previous experience in hotel or supplier distribution, preferably in the last 3 years.
  • Degree or equivalent in an IT or systems discipline.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS), Central Reservation Systems (CRS), channel managers, and associated systems, ideally in an Amadeus environment.
