About the Team:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Supervising the setup and conducting all types of EMC tests, ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly and accurately recorded.
  • Preparing test time estimates to support the quotation process, providing detailed and realistic timelines for project delivery.
  • Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities, contributing to the development of new testing methodologies and procedures.
  • Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Recording product condition or behavior during and after test, creating concise and clear test records that meet industry standards and company requirements.
  • Working as part of a large team to coordinate testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication among team members.
  • Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
  • Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work, providing expert analysis and recommendations to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification, with a good understanding of physics and its applications in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Minimum 5 years of practical test experience in a controlled test environment, working to Automotive or Aerospace test standards and demonstrating a strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Familiarity with testing, monitoring, and control instruments, including a range of equipment and software used in EMC testing and analysis.
  • Conscientious attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers, stakeholders, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
