About the Team:

Our team at ZF Group specializes in testing and ensuring the quality of electronic products, including ECUs and power steering systems, for both internal lines and external clients. We adhere to strict industry standards and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Supervising the setup and conducting all types of EMC tests, ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly and accurately.
• Preparing test time estimates to support the quotation process, providing detailed and realistic timelines for project completion.
• Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities, contributing to the development of new testing methodologies and procedures.
• Devising and carrying out non-standard tests to meet special requirements, leveraging expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
• Recording product condition or behavior during and after test, creating concise and clear test records that facilitate data analysis and decision-making.
• Working as part of a large team to coordinate testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication among team members.
• Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults, taking proactive measures to prevent equipment downtime and ensure continuous testing operations.
• Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work, providing expert guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification, with a good understanding of physics and its applications in the field of electromagnetism.
• Minimum 5 years of practical test experience in a controlled test environment, working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards and demonstrating expertise in testing, monitoring, and control instruments.
• Familiarity with testing, monitoring, and control instruments, including knowledge of their operation, maintenance, and calibration.
• Conscientious attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers, stakeholders, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
